Water Educational Training Science Project

Eastern Michigan University

The Water Educational Training (WET) Science Project at Eastern Michigan University combines biology, chemistry, earth science and physics with sound, progressive principles of teaching and learning, including the 5-step learning cycle, biographical storytelling, inquiry learning, writing-to-learn activities, embedded assessment, all integrated under the common theme of water. There are eleven lesson plans for this project. They are available on this Web site, as well as links to numerous useful resources. Get your feet 'wet' with science by starting a WET project in your classroom or after school club.
