Thank You, Becky Sipe!

As many of you may know, Dr. Rebecca Sipe has decided to return to her faculty position in the English Department and leave her appointment as Assistant Vice President, Honors College, effective fall 2017. Dr. Sipe has enjoyed a long and successful history at EMU, beginning in 1997 as an Assistant Professor in the English Department. She was appointed as Interim Department Head for English in 2007 and was made permanent in that position in July 2008. In August 2010, she became the Director of the Honors College, and was named Assistant Vice President in January 2016. I am extremely grateful for her outstanding service to our University and her effective leadership of the Honors College during her tenure there. I hope you all join me in thanking her for her service and wishing her great success and happiness in her return to faculty.
