Emergency Notification by Text Message
In this season of unpredictable weather conditions, an extremely effective way to be informed about weather-related closings at Eastern Michigan University is to sign up for the emergency alert messaging system. EMU uses this system not only for weather closings, but for other timely warnings when situations occur that could affect health and safety on campus. Anyone who has not yet signed up for the emergency alert messaging, should do so.
Working Over the Break?
Please be sure to let the Department of Public Safety (734.487.0892) know that you are on campus, If working over the holiday break when the university is closed. DPS will patrol and will investigate any activity they see, so please give them notice to avoid any startling encounters.
