Two new academic programs were approved at the February 9 Board of Regents meeting. Dr. Karen Craig, Assistant Professor of Accounting and Finance, presented the Finance, Master of Science program; and Dr. Jeff Popko, Department Head, World Languages, presented the Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL), Bachelor of Arts program. Both programs were well received and approved by the Board. The programs now move to review by the Academic Officers Committee of the Michigan Association of State Universities. Once that review is completed, planning for implementation will be finalized. Congratulations to all of the faculty who worked to create this new curriculum!
