We are pleased to announce that Colleen Croxall, director of School of Health Sciences and Chiara Hensley, assistant vice president for Academic and Student Affairs, are the recipients of the 2018 Outstanding Institutional Representative Award from the MI-ACE Women’s Network.
The Outstanding Institutional Representative Award recognizes and honors Institutional Representatives for developing, encouraging, advancing, linking, and supporting women on their campus. Over the past year, Chiara and Colleen led efforts that expanded the breadth of relationships within the campus network, initiated a mentor project, and provided additional programming and activities reflecting the mission, values, and goals of MI-ACE.
Congratulations to Dr. Dave Pawlowski, Associate Professor, Physics, and his team of students on earning a second place finish in the University Student Design Challenge sponsored by NASA. Under Dave’s Leadership, these students were afforded the opportunity to apply their cumulative physics knowledge and work as a team to produce an award-winning design for aeronautical vehicle.
