Wednesday Briefing for March 29

Higher Learning Commission (HLC) Student Opinion Survey Launching on April 3

Students will be sent a voluntary anonymous survey to capture student opinion comments on EMU, as a part of the HLC accreditation process for the institution. Students should be encouraged to participate as much as possible until the survey ends on April 11. For more information, contact the Provost's Office or Bin Ning, Assistant Vice President and Executive Director, Institutional Research and Information Management.

Fulbright Awards Are Now Available

Interested faculty and students are encouraged to visit the Fulbright Award site and search for awards that are the best fit for their experience, interest, and/or area of the world desired. The faculty Fulbright liaison is Dr. Betsy Morgan; the student liaison is Dr. Carla Damiano.

Green March for Autism Acceptance - April 12

The Second Annual Green March for Autism Acceptance will be hosted on EMU's campus on April 12. The march will begin at 3 p.m. in the EMU Student Center food court and will end at the Porter building. The event is headlined by New York Times Best Selling author Ron Fournier, a nationally respected journalist who wrote the best-selling book, “Love That Boy: What Two Presidents, Eight Road Trips, and My Son Taught Me About a Parent’s Expectations. Commencement Regalia Reminder - Order site closes March 31

Faculty, full- and part-time lecturers, and academic and student affairs administrators attending the April 22 commencement ceremonies and participating in the processional, please be reminded that the academic regalia order site will close this Friday, March 31. After Friday, orders will need to be placed through the EMU Campus Bookstore (734.483.2850), and may incur additional shipping charges.
