Change in Halle Library's Resource Management System – Account Access Not Available May 4–22

Halle Library is adopting the Alma® library management service this summer 2017. With Alma, the library is looking forward to managing all its resources—physical, digital and electronic—in a unified manner. Starting this summer:

  • Our current online library catalog will be retired. The new catalog will be accessible through Esearch – which is the same service we use now. Things may look a little different, but all of the same search options will still be available. Logging in will only require entering your my.emich NetID and password.
  • From May 4–22 (dates subject to change), you will not be able to login to your library account. Email [email protected], call 487.2562 or stop by the library circulation desk for:
    • Renewal requests for items you have checked out.
    • Hold requests for items not currently available
    • Check due-dates or ask other questions about your account.

Thank you for your patience this summer as we work on migrating to the new system. If you have any questions, please call library administration at 487.2633.

Healthcare Management Degree Guide Ranks EMU's MS in Clinical Research Administration #1

Eastern was named as having one of the top 25 clinical research and clinical research management master’s degrees in the most recent ranking by the Healthcare Management Degree Guide. Based on information gathered in part from the NCES College Navigator database, schools were identified that offered either an online clinical research or clinical research management degree. Schools were then ranked based on expertise and involvement in the field, career training and curricular relevance, accessibility to students and application of knowledge. EMU's program, which ranked first, was recognized in part for offering its curriculum completely online, but it also expects—and then builds on—a certain level of prior education and relevant work experience.

Visit the Healthcare Management Degree Guide web site for more.

TEL Systems, working with Information Technology and the Physical Plant, continue installation of upgraded classroom technology, including document cameras, Blu-ray players, thin-client workstations and projection equipment.
