Peer evaluators from the Higher Learning Commission will be on campus October 23–24, 2017, to conduct a comprehensive evaluation. While visiting Eastern, they will meet with various groups on campus and review evidence to evaluate the overall quality of the institution. Much effort has gone into preparing for the site visit and I'm happy to report that we are on track for timely submission of the required documentation, which includes the assurance argument, federal compliance review, and quality initiative report. In the weeks leading up to the site visit we will be highlighting the various criteria used in the evaluation along with the strengths and opportunities for improvement identified by the steering committee teams as they worked to create the assurance argument. Your participation in the accreditation process is much appreciated.
