Not a freshman or transfer student? See below for next steps:
Nontraditional First-Year (Age 21+) and Second Bachelor Students
1. Activate your my.emich student account. Your personal identification information needed to activate your account can be found on your official admission letter.
2. Meet with an Academic Advisor and register for classes. Academic advising is done in the college that holds your intended major (listed below). Find contact information for advising offices.
Guest Students
1. Activate your my.emich student account. Your personal identification information needed to activate your account can be found on your official admission letter.
2. Meet with an Academic Advisor and register for classes. Contact the University Advising and Career Development center at 734.487.0400 and speak directly with our guest student advisor.
Dual Enrollment Students

Post-Bachelor Certification and Non-Degree Seeking Students

2. Meet with an Academic Advisor and register for classes. Please contact the faculty advisor in the specific department where you’ll be taking classes. Get contact information for faculty advisors.
Post-Bachelor Teaching Certification and Endorsements
