Adviser Appointments

Adviser appointments allow freshman and transfer students to meet with an EMU Admissions Adviser, learn more about the admissions process and get a priority admission decision. Our experienced advisers will meet one-on-one with you to:

  • Review the EMU academic programs and majors you're considering. We'll show you which courses are required for a particular degree and how many credit hours are required
  • Discuss how your previous coursework will be evaluated at EMU once you apply
  • Review your application
  • Share your next steps in being admitted and enrolled at EMU

To receive an admission decision during your appointment, bring:

  • All official high school or college transcripts in sealed envelopes
  • Official ACT or SAT scores (freshman applicants under 21 only)
  • A $35 application fee

Transfers: To schedule your appointment, search "Transfer Admission Info Sessions" on the Admissions Event Sign Up.

Freshman: We provide individualized appointments when you register for a campus tour. The appointment will automatically be built in to your visit to campus and does not require a separate registration. Please schedule your campus visit today by calling our Admissions Welcome Center at 734.487.6453 or by registering online . Make sure to search "Campus Tour" under Event Type Selection.
