EMU Love Story: Ken and Kim Madis

Do you have children? How many? Yes. Four
How did you meet? We met in the EMU Marching Band. Go Hurons!
Where was your first date? Homecoming parade (we were in it), lunch after, Homecoming game and dinner after.
Any cute memories you have together at Eastern? Ken walked me back to me dorm every night, including the night Ken slipped on the ice and badly sprained his ankle. He, however, insisted on walking me back to my dorm and then back to his apartment.
We met in the EMU Marching Band. We spent a lot of time together in band, and then had dinner in the DC and then studied together all evening. I was on scholarship and needed to keep my grades up, so Ken went to the library with me every night. As a result, we were both on the Dean's List every semester.
If married/engaged, how did they propose? If it was on campus, where? Proposal was at Marysville City Park
