Tutoring
HSC’s Drop-In Tutoring program is designed and organized to best fit EMU student needs. Our program offers free tutoring services in many of the most challenging general education and gateway courses on campus. Tutoring is held virtually through Google Meet or Zoom. Whether you have a few quick questions on an assignment or need some long-term assistance getting caught up, our tutors are there to help.
Supplemental Instruction
The Supplemental Instruction (SI) Program offers free academic support for students both inside and outside of the classroom. SI works directly with academic departments and faculty to provide support in some of the most challenging general education and/or gateway courses. Each course that partners with the SI program has a trained SI leader who provides support and guidance for students both in and out of the classrooms. All SI sessions will be held virtually in Google Meet or Zoom.
Peer Academic Coaching
Peer Academic Coaches meet with students one-on-one and in small groups, and help us in our creation of a community on campus. Meeting with a Peer Academic Coach can help you with time management, study strategies, scholarship searches, and finding your path through college. HSC is offering Peer Academic Coaching with Google Meet or Zoom.
Success Coaching
Meeting with a success coach is an excellent way to get you on track academically and personalize your education. We assist students in navigating the University system, as well as assisting in tracking progress toward both academic and personal goals. If you need a hand in developing a plan of action to tackle academic challenges and attain personal achievement, we are here to help! HSC is offering virtual Success Coaching through Google Meet or Zoom.
