Black Faculty and Staff Association 

The purpose of the Black Faculty and staff Association is to further the well-being of the Black community of Eastern Michigan University and contribute to the institution’s quest for excellence. 

The association strives to:

• Improve the academic experience and quality of life for Black students
• Enhance the quality of work life and promote professional development for Black faculty, staff and administrators.
• Increase the responsiveness of the institution to the academic, cultural, socioeconomic and technological challenges facing higher education.
