Responsibilities

The Business Systems Support department is led by the Director of Business Systems Support. The department:

  • Primary areas of responsibility include Office of the Controller, Purchasing, University Budget, and Student Business Services administrative systems
  • Directs the planning and improvement of administrative applications as they relate to Business and Finance and their impact to the division's services and functions
  • Supports business applications including those housed in the Ellucian Higher Education ERP suite, third party and bolt-on applications
  • Bridges the gap in IT services between the Business and Finance division and the Division of Information Technology (DoIT) administrators to achieve university, division and unit goals
  • Oversees the administration of security and scheduling functions for assigned business applications and modules
  • Provides reporting solutions for administrative university systems
  • Manages the division's desktop support activities
