University Budget Office

The University Budget Office works collaboratively with the University Community to promote stewardship of university resources by developing useful, timely and accurate reports.

The major responsibilities of the Budget Office include:

  • Coordinating and compiling the University's annual General and Auxiliary Fund budgets in accordance with the University's established guidelines.
  • Meeting regularly with University administrators to analyze financial reports and compare budget-to-actual operating results.
  • Managing Position Control which accurately reports and maintains the University's budgeted positions. It is used to track the number of positions at EMU as well as funding source and budgeted amount for each position.
