Additional Information

MSG Jones, originally from Sacramento, MI, enlisted in the United States Army in 2002. He completed One Station Unit Training (OSUT) at Fort Benning, GA earning the Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) 11B Infantryman.

His operational assignments began in Fort Drum, New York and included duties as a Rifleman, and Team Leader for Charlie Company 4-31 Infantry 10th Mountain. His next assignment was in Schofield Barracks, Hawaii as a Team Leader, Squad Leader, and a Platoon Sergeant in Charlie Company 2-27 Infantry, and HHC 3rd Brigade Combat Team 25th Infantry Division. From (2012-2016) he was assigned to Fort Carson, Colorado where his duties included Platoon Sergeant for Both Bravo and Charlie Company 4-9 Infantry, along with the Brigade S3 NCO, in 1st Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division.

Between operational assignments, MSG Jones spent time at Fort Gordon, Georgia as an instructor Basic Officer Leader Course (BLOC) for 4-42 Signal Battalion from 2010-2012. He also spent time at Fort Jackson, South Carolina, Where he served as both a Senior Drill Sergeant and First Sergeant for 3-34 Infantry, 1-65th Infantry Brigade, from 2016-21.

MSG Jones is married to his amazing wife Brandy Jones, of Las Vegas, Nevada, and they have five children, Lashay, Auria, Julya Mae, Malik, and Santana.
