Industry Experience

Michelle brings over 30 years interior design practical and industry experience, with a focus in commercial design, space planning, and furniture for corporate environments.  She has designed corporate, retail, hospitality, and residential  interior design projects with a specialty in creative solutions and technology integration.  Since 2005, she has taught interior design courses and studios in several design programs.  Michelle’s areas of research include application of technology tools to create multiple iterations of design options for quick analysis and decision making.

  • Specialty in workplace moves/adds/changes and planning corporate environments
  • Implementation of client/furniture and finish standardization programs with industry leaders such as Interface flooring, Haworth, Allsteel, Herman Miller, and Steelcase furniture.
  • Coordination with IT and security experts in the integration of client-facility needs with cutting edge technologies
  • Concept presentations to win the job, furniture bid specifications, custom millwork drawings
  • Project management, installations, and post-occupancy evaluations
