The Center for Health Disparities Innovations and Studies at Eastern Michigan University aims to improve the lives of communities by reducing racial and ethnic health disparities of diverse and minority populations in the state of Michigan.

  • The EMU REACH Project has been working with Wayne County Healthy Communities to create free online breastfeeding classes. These classes will be held biweekly on Mondays starting at 4pm. All pregnant and breastfeeding mothers are eligible to participate. Translation in Arabic and Bengali will be available. To sign up for class please visit the registration page.
