Education

Physical Chemistry

  • Ph.D., Stanford University, 1998
  • BS, University of Dayton, 1989

Interests and Expertise

My chief interest is in the properties of gold and silver nanoparticles. My research involves the synthesis, characterization and application of nanomaterials. These materials are then studied for their unique optical and electrical properties as sensing agents and their influence on various fluorophores in solution.
