Maria Keelon is the program director of the School of Physician Assistant Studies. She joined Eastern Michigan University in March 2015 as an assistant professor and director of clinical education before becoming program director in February 2020.
Ms. Keelon is a physician assistant with 13 years of clinical experience in emergency medicine, practicing with an urban, underserved patient population in Detroit. She has also worked in the specialty of otolaryngology (ear, nose & throat) as a PA. She has worked with PA students during their clinical rotations during her career. Ms. Keelon continues to practice clinically in emergency medicine.
