PUBLIC Health Education Program

EMU's Public Health Education program offers a Master of Science degree in Health Education, an undergraduate degree in Public Health-Community Health Education and an undergraduate minor in Health Education. Both the Public Health Major and  the Master of Science in Health Education prepare culturally competent health education professionals to partner with individuals and communities to prevent disease and injury, and promote health.

The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics projects that employment of health educators is expected to grow by 16 percent through 2026 as more groups look for ways to promote healthy lifestyles for individuals, families and communities.
