Maria Keelon joined Eastern Michigan University in March 2015 as an Assistant Professor and Director of Clinical Education in the Physician Assistant Program. She received her MS in Physician Assistant Studies from Wayne State University in 2002.

Ms. Keelon is a physician assistant with 13 years of clinical experience in emergency medicine, practicing with an urban, underserved patient population in Detroit. She has also worked in the specialty of Otolaryngology (Ear, Nose & Throat) as a PA. She has worked with PA students during their clinical rotations during her career. Ms. Keelon continues to practice clinically in emergency medicine.
