Jessica Stamatis joined Eastern Michigan University in May 2016 as an Assistant Professor in addition to assisting in the clinical year of the Physician Assistant Program. She received her BS in Psychology in 2001 and MS in Physician Assistant Studies from Wayne State University in 2006.

Ms. Stamatis is a physician assistant with 10 years of clinical experience in emergency medicine, practicing with an urban, underserved patient population in Detroit. She has also previously worked in the field of Internal Medicine as a PA. She has precepted PA students during their clinical rotations during most of her career. Ms. Stamatis continues to practice clinically in emergency medicine.
