Aging Studies Annual Lecture

The Aging Studies Program is excited to offer this year's lecture:  Passport to Aging Well.  The event will take place on Tuesday, March 17th, 4-6:30 pm in the Student Center Ballroom.  Students, alumni, faculty, and community members are invited to attend this FREE event to explore the intersection between aging and wellness through formal presentations, physical activity group pop-ups, and interactive resource passport stations.  These passport stations include healthy food demonstrations by EMU Chef Tom with samplings of healthy food, wellness checks, local library services and programs, mental health resources, falls screening and prevention, pain management techniques, support for intellectual health, information on aging in place, and strategies for navigating legal and healthcare systems.

LBC credit will be available to students.
