Group Information Sessions

Portfolio Application deadline is August 1, 2019

After review of portfolios, selected applicants will be notified and will begin classes in Winter 2020.

Each applicant to EMU's program MUST submit a portfolio of information.

  1. Information sessions are designed to help you understand what content must be included in your portfolio and what criteria you must meet in order to be selected as a student.  You can attend information session in two ways:  Register for a group information session (times listed below.)
  2. Closely review the webinar at the link below.

Potential applicants are required to attend an information session prior to scheduling an individual appointment with the occupational therapy intent advisor. Students who complete their information session via webinar must watch the entire webinar in order to make an appointment.

After attending an Information Session follow the Required Content Guidelines for Portfolio for detailed information about application requirements and required pre-requisite courses.

Group Information Sessions will be held on the following days. Please RSVP to Sharon Holt, OT Intent Advisor at OT_Intent_advising@emich.edu to reserve your spot at a Group information session. For directions to the Halle Library please refer to the campus map.

  • Wednesday February 6, 2019  6 -7:30pm Rm 320 Halle
  • Wednesday March 20, 2019  10 -11:30am Rm 300 Halle (note different room number)
  • Wednesday April 17, 2019  6 -7:30pm  Rm 320 Halle
