Group Information Sessions

Portfolio Application deadline is August 1, 2016 

After review of portfolios, selected applicants will be notified and will begin classes in Winter 2016.

Each applicant to EMU's program must submit a portfolio of information.

Group sessions are designed to help you understand what content must be included in your portfolio and what criteria you must meet in order to be selected as a student.

Potential applicants are required to attend a group information session prior to scheduling an individual appointment with the occupational therapy intent advisor.

Please RSVP to Sharon Holt, OT Intent Advisor at OT_intent_advising@emich.edu to reserve your spot at the information session.

After attending a Group Information Session follow the Required Content Guidelines for Portfolio for detailed information about application requirements and required pre-requisite courses.

Group Information Sessions will be held on the following days in room 302 Halle Library (unless otherwise indicated):

  • Monday, September 14, 2015:  2:00 - 3:30 p.m.
  • Tuesday, September 29, 2015:  5:30 - 7:00 p.m.
  • Thursday, October 15, 2015:  2:00 - 3:00 p.m.  <<<Date corrected
  • Tuesday, October 27, 2015:  5:30 - 7:00 p.m.
  • Thursday, November 12, 2015:  2:00 - 3:30 p.m.
  • Tuesday, November 24, 2015:  5:30 - 7:00 p.m.  <<< Session is full.  Please choose another session.
  • Thursday, December 10, 2015:  2:00 - 3:30 p.m. --->>> 217 Halle

Please attend a general advising meeting prior to setting up a 1:1 sessions. These meetings will provide information on the program and the application process.
