Group Information Sessions


Information sessions are designed to help you understand what content must be included in your OTCAS application and what criteria you must meet in order to be selected as a student.  You can attend information session in two ways:  

1. Register for a group information session (times listed below.)

2. Closely review the webinar at the link below. (New Webinar coming soon!)

Potential applicants are required to attend an information session prior to scheduling an individual appointment with the occupational therapy intent advisor. Students who complete their information session via webinar must watch the entire webinar in order to make an appointment.

Group Information Sessions will be held on the following days. Please RSVP to Sharon Holt, OT Intent Advisor at OT_Intent_advising@emich.edu to reserve your spot at a Group information session. For directions to Rackham Hall or the Halle Library as well as available parking lots please refer to the campus map.

  • Wednesday July 17, 2019  12-1:30pm Rm 300 Halle Library (note different room number)

Beginning in 2020 the EMU Occupational Therapy Program will be utilizing the Occupational Therapy Centralized Application System (OTCAS).  

EMU's OTCAS application will open on March 1st and the deadline will be June 10th, 2020. 

Applicants will complete all sections of the OTCAS application including submitting official transcripts from all colleges and universities attended, observation hours, GRE scores, references, experiences, achievements, licenses and certifications. No extra forms are required beyond what is required for the OTCAS application.
