Biography

  • Began teaching at Eastern Michigan University in 2013
  • Retired from school social work services in 2014
  • Other previous professional endeavors were in child welfare:  foster care, foster home licensing, prevention, and adoption,
  • Various presentations in school and agency settings around grief and loss, behavior management, and positive approaches to parenting,
  • Specific social work group support for children and parents were provided, and
  • MSW students from Eastern Michigan University, the University of Michigan, and Wayne State University received field instruction while working in the school setting.
