Biography

Ray Quiel is nationally recognized expert in forensic arts and forensic pedagogy. He is also an award-winning Teacher, inductee into the Forensic Hall of Fame (EMU), Emeritus Director of Forensics, and a Distinguished Service Award Winner. At EMU since 1973. 

His research focuses on the power of metaphor, especially the enduring influence of equine metaphors.

He is a consummate generalist with an irenical worldview.
