Dr. Shen started teaching at Eastern Michigan University in 2006. He adds the perspective of a quantitative researcher to the department. His research is consistent with his training as a quantitative, experimental researcher. He has extensive experience with both univariate and multivariate statistical methods. Dr. Shen enjoys teaching as well. He deems classroom interactions as essential to promote his life. It is the communication with students and other faculty members that keeps him warm on the snowy days.
