"...the Statue of Liberty emerging from the mist. Ah, there she was, the symbol of hope, freedom, of opportunity." –Emma, Act I

Presented as a lively musical revue of 50 songs from approximately 1880-1920, Tintypes follows the experiences of Charlie, a young Russian immigrant, as he becomes a part of the melting pot of American culture. Interwoven are glimpses into the lives of a variety of characters, including radical Emma Goldman, Vaudeville performer Bert Williams, Teddy Roosevelt and the aristocratic songbird Anna.

Nominated for three Tony Awards, including Best Musical, Tintypes is a charming, musical kaleidoscope of America set at the turn of the 20th century.

Tintypes will be performed in the Quirk Theatre on November 21 & 22 at 7pm, November 23 at 2pm, December 4, 5, 6 at 7pm and December 7 at 2pm. Recommended for ages 10+.
