Auditions & Production Opportunities

EMU Theatre auditions and crew calls are open to any currently enrolled EMU student in good academic standing. Students do not have to be a theatre major or minor to participate.

UPCOMING AUDITIONS AND CREW CALLS:

*WINTER/SUMMER AUDITIONS for Songs Unsung, Much Ado About Nothing, She Kills Monsters, and The Boy at the Edge of Everything - on Thursday, Jan. 10 from 6-9pm, and Friday, Jan. 11 from 1-4pm, in the Lab Theatre/Room 107 Quirk.  You do not need to attend both audition dates. Auditionees should prepare a one-minute contemporary monologue, a one-minute Shakespeare monologue and a 16-bar musical theatre selection (if auditioning for a singing role). Bring sheet music in a 3-ring binder, an accompanist will be provided. COLD READING materials will also be available at auditions. Scripts are available for a two-hour sign-out period in room 103 Quirk.

Much Ado About Nothing - Saturday, Jan. 12 from 10am-1pm in Room 131 Quirk 
The Boy at the Edge of Everything - Tuesday, Jan. 15 from 5-8pm in Room 131 Quirk

She Kills Monsters - Thursday, Jan. 17 from 5-8pm in Room 131 Quirk
Please come dressed to move and plan to stay the entire time.

Winter/Summer 2019 Crew Calls - If you are interested in volunteering on a crew for one of our productions, please fill out a Crew Interest Form and return it to the Theatre Administration Office in 103 Quirk. Crew interest forms will be available at auditions and in 103 Quirk.
