Accounting & Finance

Accounting and Finance provides top-tier education in accounting, finance, decision science, and accounting information systems, offering graduate programs such as the Master of Science in Accounting and the Master of Science in Tax Consulting.

Recently, we introduced a Master of Science in Finance to equip students for a range of in-demand business careers.

Information Systems

Information Systems offers areas of study that prepare students to design, develop, and manage systems supporting business operations. Our Master of Science in Information Systems, a STEM designated program (CIP code 11.0401), allows eligible international students to apply for extended work opportunities through OPT and the STEM extension.

Additionally, we offer graduate certificates in Computer Information Systems and Information Technology Governance, as well as an undergraduate degree in Computer Information Systems.

Management

Management offers undergraduate majors and minors in management, general business, and entrepreneurship, with a concentration option in human resources. Graduate options include certificates in human resource management, organizational development, entrepreneurship, management, and a Master’s in Human Resources and Organizational Development.

Our faculty are highly credentialed, with over 95% holding doctoral degrees, and are recognized for excellence in teaching, research, and service, frequently publishing in leading journals and textbooks.

Marketing

Marketing provides undergraduate majors and minors in marketing, supply chain management, and international business. Graduate options include an MBA specialization, a Master’s in Integrated Marketing Communications, and certificates in e-business, integrated marketing, international business, marketing management, and supply chain management.

We also sponsor the EMU Sales Institute, the Center for Digital Engagement, and the Disability Planning and Policy Center, providing unique opportunities and resources for students pursuing careers in these fields.
