Deedra has enjoyed working with students as an academic advisor for over 15 years now. She has also taught courses and been in positions of departmental/technical support while employed with EMU. Prior to higher education, Deedra enjoyed and grew from positions in a domestic violence residential and crisis-intervention facility, accounting, consumer advocacy in a trade association, dispatching, retail and office management, data specialist, spiritual leadership and community organization.
