Admissions
The cohort program begins each fall for students. The following priority deadlines have been established for receipt of all application materials required for admission to the MSF program.
Early Admission Deadline - December 1
Standard Admission Deadline - OPEN
Please note applications will be accepted after the priority date; however, all open enrollment positions may already be assigned. Acceptance to the program will be determined by the MSFA faculty.
Requirements
The following must be submitted and will be considered when applying for the MS in Financial Analytics:
- Meet the minimum graduate school admission requirements,
- A minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.0.
- A current resume with the application.
- Personal statement (250-word maximum) detailing the applicant's interest in the program.
- English proficiency test scores are required from international applicants. Prospective international students are encouraged to visit EMU's international admissions page.
Applicants may submit a GMAT or GRE score if they believe it enhances their application, but this is optional.
Conditional Admission
Applicants with a GPA between 2.75 and 3.00 must maintain a GPA of 3.25 or higher for one semester without receiving any final grades below a B-.
