Dr. Gordon is a professor in the Department of Teacher Education and the Reading program area. She teaches undergraduate and graduate courses related to early literacy and assessment. Dr. Gordon's primary interests focus on spelling acquisition, early literacy development, and pre-service teacher education. Dr. Gordon is a former early elementary teacher and reading specialist.
