Biography
Laura has worked in the Clinical Counseling field for 10 years. Laura received her Master's Degree in Chicago, where started her career in Gary Indiana providing outpatient care for the severely mentally ill population, and then worked in downtown Chicago in an intensive outpatient program for adults with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. She has also worked in inpatient substance use centers and with community mental health partners. Focusing on health as it relates to clinical counseling, her passion is working in the medical field with patients who are in the hospital setting trying to cope with both medical, mental health, and substance use disorders.
