Linda "Lin" Keesey (1945-2014) taught curriculum courses and coordinated field experiences in the Department of Teacher Education during the mid-to-late 2000s. She was a highly valued colleague and educator.

Katherine Walters (1932-2015) retired after nearly 26 years of teaching at Custer Elementary School in the Monroe Public School System. Walters received her bachelor's degree from Eastern Michigan University in 1960.
