Family Involvement

A key component of CSP is family involvement. CSP recognizes that families play an irreplaceable role in the lives of their student. They are the most natural support system throughout life.

Given the overall high impact of ASD in the students enrolled in the program, it is certain their parents will continue to provide targeted supports to them post college life. 

Therefore, families are encouraged to take on an empowerment role by playing an active role in the problem solving and decision-making process. CSP involves families because their lived experiences are valued and encouraged by CSP staff.
