A proxy is a person who acts as an approver on your behalf when you are unable to complete approver tasks (e.g. you are on vacation or are sick).
Follow these directions to designate a proxy:
- Open the Summary page. See Accessing the Summary Page for more information.
- From the Time Sheet/Leave Request/Proxy page, click the Proxy Set Up link.
- From the Proxy Set Up page, click the Name pull-down arrow and select the person you want to designate as a proxy.
Note: To navigate quicker, type the first letter of the proxy's name. - Click the Add checkbox next to the person you want to add as a proxy.
- Click the Time Reporting Selection link.
- Notify the Payroll Department that you have a new proxy.
- Notify the person you set up as a proxy of their new status.
Follow these directions to remove a proxy:
- From the Time Sheet/Leave Request/Proxy page, click the Proxy Set Up link.
- Click the Remove checkbox next to the person you want to remove as a proxy.
- Click the Save button.
Note: The name is removed from the list of proxies. - Click the Time Reporting Selection link.
