Fire Staff and Command
Eastern Michigan University’s Center for Regional and National Security (CeRNS) is now accepting applications for the 2020 School of Fire Staff and Command program.
Eastern Michigan University's School of Fire Staff and Command is designed to prepare the professional fire officer to effectively manage their fire agency.
This management-oriented program consists of 350 hours of competency-based education spread over 9 months. The program takes the fire officer beyond traditional operation methods and exposes them to conceptual thinking and problem solving.
The School of Fire Staff and Command education/training program targets those fire officers destined for senior leadership within their departments. With technology advancing at such a rapid rate, senior fire officers must be prepared with the knowledge, skills and abilities afforded private industry, which are ignored in public service.

Police Staff and Command
Eastern Michigan University’s Center for Regional and National Security (CeRNS) is now accepting applications for the 2018 School of Police Staff and Command program.
Eastern Michigan University's School of Police Staff and Command has a reputation for excellence, and is supported by quality instructors and law enforcement professionals who make up the foundation of this unique educational/training program.

The School's of Staff and Command offer the option of university credit. This credit may be applied as undergraduate (18 credit hours) or graduate (12 credit hours) dependent upon the student's academic standing. These credits are transcript hours and are fully transferable to other colleges and universities. Click here for a Current Course listing. Costs are the responsibility of each participant who elects this credit option. These costs are based on Eastern Michigan University's course fee schedule.
The School's of Staff and Command are accredited through the North Central Accreditation process for Graduate and Undergraduate credit through Eastern Michigan University.
