MAJ Christopher Schilling

Major Schilling's professional military education includes the Military Police OSUT, Primary Leadership Development Course, MP Basic Non-Commissioned Officer Course, Engineer Basic Officer Leader Course; Engineer Captain’s Career Course; U.S. Air Force Squadron Officer School; U.S. Navy Primary Officer PME; Joint Engineer Operations Course; Defense Strategy Course. He holds a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Criminal Justice from Radford University, Radford, VA and a Master's of Science in Leadership and Business Ethics from Duquesne University, Pittsburgh, PA.
Originally from Ann Arbor, Michigan with his formative years spent in Newport News, VA, Major Schilling enlisted in the Army Reserve in 1996 and received a direct commission in 2007. Prior to entering active service in 2005, Major Schilling was a police officer in North Carolina and mobilized with the Army Reserve for Operation Noble Eagle in 2001 and Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2003. His previous assignments include serving as a Team Leader in the 304th MP Company at Bluefield, WV; Squad Leader in the 88th MP Company at Fort Eustis, VA; Small Group Leader at the Fort Dix NCO Academy at Joint Base-McGuire Dix Lakehurst, NJ; Platoon Leader and Company Executive/Construction Officer in the 389th EN Company (V) at Middletown, IA; Facility Engineer Officer in the 99th Regional Support Command at Joint Base-McGuire Dix Lakehurst, NJ; Assistant Operations Officer in the 368th FEST-M at Decatur, GA and Command Readiness Officer, Senior Security Cooperation Officer and Chief, Operational Plans in the 9th Mission Support Command at Fort Shafter, HI.
