Additional Information

In addition to having a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Oakland University (Rochester, MI), Dr. Stewart is a Licensed Professional Engineer (PE). His research draws from engineering mechanics, finite element analysis (FEA) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD). Specifically, Dr. Stewart conducts systematic investigations to design or determine the cause of failure of mechanical components and systems through computer aided engineering (CAE) modeling and experimental methods. Besides being an academic engineer, he is also a practicing mechanical engineer. Dr. Stewart has 18 years of practical engineering problem solving experience in the Automotive Industry.
