Consideration for Admittance
Application Deadline February 15th
Applicants must have completed a minimum of 30 semester credit hours in a technology-related master's program including a course in statistics and must describe their professional and academic goals in a personal statement that allows the Ph.D. admissions committee to determine if the student, the faculty, and the curriculum will fit well together.
Admission decisions are based on the applicant's evidence of potential for success in the program and completing all degree requirements. Admission to the program is determined by:
a) Applicant's academic ability as demonstrated in their GRE scores and their GPAs in graduate and undergraduate programs;
b) Applicant's performance as provided in their letters of recommendation that evaluate their personal qualities to predict success in graduate study;
c) Applicant's experience and educational goals as reflected in their resume and personal statement.
All of the following application materials should be submitted to the Office of Admissions and must be received by February 15 for admission starting in the Fall semester:
Applicants will be notified of their acceptance or denial by the graduate admissions office within seven to nine weeks of the deadline date. All decisions by the College of Technology regarding admission are final. However, a student may reapply at a future date. Note: Applications are NOT accepted for admission for Winter semester.
