President's Commission on Diversity and Inclusion

Mission

The Mission of the President's Commission on Diversity and Inclusion was to develop specific recommendations for the University to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion of all members of the University community, and to empower their full participation in the campus community.   Those recommendations have been submitted and several have been completed.

With the Commission having completed its work, other University groups are continuing the important work of pursuing DEI initiatives on campus, including:

• Faculty Senate Task Force on Campus Climate, Race, and Diversity Issues
• Ad-Hoc Work Group on Employee DEI Training
• The Office of Diversity and Community Involvement
