EMU Economics Experience

In my time at Eastern Michigan University, the Economics department has allowed me to shape my future in a positive way. During First Four, Dr. Elias was able to persuade me to change my major from Actuarial Science to Economics and Mathematics, and I am very thankful that he did. In my Economics classes, my interest for finance and analysts was able to grow. These new interests made me take analytic based Mathematics classes as well as add a minor in Finance at the start of my Junior year. Now, I am able to work with both finance and analytics at PFM, and I have the Economics department to thank for that.
