Interests and Expertise

Dr. Vogt joined EMU in 1978. His major areas of academic interest are International Economics, Macroeconomics, and Monetary Economics. Dr. Vogt's international economics courses are integral parts of the university's programs in Language and International Trade, and Language and World Business. His research interests include the balance of payments, foreign exchange rates, Federal Reserve policies, and interest rates.
