Eastern Michigan University's Educator Promise Loan Repayment Assistance Program (LRAP) is our innovative financial safety net. If your income after graduation is less than $50,000, we can help repay your federal student, parent PLUS and private alternative loans after graduation.

How it Works
No Additional Fees
There is no cost to the student or their family to apply for the Loan Repayment Assistance Program.
Minimum Requirements
Must be a K-12, Elementary, or Secondary Education Major and first-time college student or transfer student with 60 credits hours left to graduate. U.S. citizenship required.
Easy Apply
File the FAFSA. If eligible, you will be contacted with the LRAP offer after admission, typically after your Financial Aid package is available.
Loan Repaid
If you make less than $50,000 after graduation, the EMU Educator Promise (LRAP) will help repay student and parent loans.
