On-Campus COVID Testing

The EMU Testing Center is a key element of the University's multi-layered approach to mitigating the spread of COVID-19. In order to help meet our priority of ensuring the safest possible environment for our University community, those eligible for tests must be University students, faculty or staff.

The Testing Center is located on the ground floor of the Student Center, next to the EMU Bookstore. Testing is free of charge.

Face masks must be worn inside the Testing Center. 

Standard Summer Hours - Beginning May 9, 2022

  • Tuesdays - 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.
  • Wednesdays - 1 p.m. - 4 p.m.
  • Thursdays - 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.
The Testing Center will be CLOSED the following weeks:
May 24 - May 30 (reopen Tuesday, May 31)
June 27 - July 4 (reopen Tuesday, July 5)
August 8 - 11

Off-Campus COVID Testing

COVID-19 tests are available off-campus at licensed facilities of your choice (e.g. medical provider, pharmacy, or laboratory). EMU students and employees who are required to undergo COVID-19 testing and receive their test off-campus must upload  their test results to the University’s testing certification system. Follow these instructions for uploading your test results. The University does NOT accept at-home test results.
