Information about your COVID-19 Testing Requirement
You have two choices for receiving your required COVID-19 test:
Option 1: You can test off campus at a licensed facility (e.g. medical provider, pharmacy, or laboratory) of your choice (no at-home tests are accepted). If you do so, you must upload your test results to the University’s testing certification system. See “How to Update My Vaccine or Test Information” below for more information about that process.
Option 2: You can use our EMU on-campus testing center. Please visit our testing website for hours, registration information, and to schedule a time to complete your test. See below for more information about testing at EMU’s testing center!
Information about receiving a COVID-19 test at EMU’s campus testing center
Please visit our testing website for hours, registration information, and to schedule a time to complete your test.
If you have questions or issues with your registration or need to change the day/time, please email [email protected], but do not submit a new registration to change your time.
When you arrive for the test, please be prepared to show your completed COVID PASS daily health screening. We recommend bringing a device such as a cell phone in case of any registration issues.
If you have previously tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 90 days you will not be subject to weekly testing until your 90 day window is complete. However, you will need to contact EMU Telehealth at [email protected] to verify your past positive record.
If you are currently in a quarantine or isolation, you will not need to complete a test at the Student Center at this time. There is nothing else you need to do at this time.
How to Update My Vaccine or Test Information
If you receive a COVID-19 test anywhere other than EMU’s campus testing center, you must upload your test information to the University’s COVID Vaccine Certification and Testing Portal. Follow these instructions for uploading your weekly test results.
If you have been vaccinated against COVID-19, you may also upload your vaccination information at the Vaccine Certification and Testing Portal. Follow these instructions for entering/updating your vaccine information and uploading your vaccine record.

If you test positive for COVID-19, you must complete the COVID-19 Report Form.
If you are exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19, tested positive, or have been asked to quarantine, contact EMU Telehealth for further guidance at 734.487.3865 or [email protected]. Telehealth’s hours are Monday - Friday, 9 am - 5 pm.
If you are in isolation or quarantine and need professor notification regarding your absence, contact the Dean of Students Office at [email protected].

If you are thinking about getting the vaccine and need information on where you can get vaccinated, please visit the vaccine information center.
If you have no in-person classes and are unvaccinated, we still encourage you to get vaccinated and test regularly.
