Who is CiP?

CiP Student Community

Currently, the CiP program invites any student who already holds an Associate's Degree (or 60 transferrable credits) to apply to our program. We admit new students to begin in Fall semesters and hold an 8-week New Student Orientation over the Summer term. Applicants must meet all EMU admission requirements, be willing to participate in Orientation, and complete a series of essays to help determine their college readiness.

Who are our students?

  • We currently have a total of 60 CiP Students.
  • 45% are involved in one of our 4 student clubs.
  • 65% are mothers.
  • 84% have release dates and 16% are lifers.
