Occupational Safety and Health Certificate Programs

Specialist in Occupational Safety and Health Standards

Construction Industry Concentration
Participants must complete a minimum of five (5) required and four (4) elective courses that include a minimum of 135 contact hours of training through OTI Education Center and/or EMU courses to earn the Specialist Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health Standards for Construction.

General Industry Concentration
Participants must complete a minimum of five (5) required and four (4) elective courses that include a minimum of 135 contact hours of training through OTI Education Center and/or EMU courses to earn the Specialist Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health Standards for General Industry.

Public Sector Safety and Health Fundamentals

Construction Concentration
Participants must complete a minimum of three (3) required and four (4) elective courses that include a minimum of 68 contact hours of training through OTI Education Center courses to earn the certificate in Public Sector Safety and Health Fundamentals for Construction.

General Industry Concentration
Participants must complete a minimum of three (3) required and four (4) elective courses that include a minimum of 68 contact hours of training through OTI Education Center courses to earn the certificate in Public Sector Safety and Health Fundamentals for General Industry.

Health and Safety Professional

General Industry Concentration
Participants must complete a minimum of six (6) required courses that include a minimum of 120 contact hours of training through OTI Education Center and/or EMU courses to earn the Health and Safety Professional Certificate - General Industry Concentration.
